In addition to learning new baking techniques and recipes, this class offers a platform for cultural exchange and connection. As you work alongside fellow participants, you will have the opportunity to share your own cultural baking traditions and learn about the diverse backgrounds of others. This cross-cultural interaction will not only deepen your appreciation for different cuisines but also foster understanding, respect, and friendship among participants.

Woodside North West was the major sponsor of our 'Baking Around the World' program in 2022. This community funding greatly assisted us in designing the community baking program, venue hire, sourcing materials and advertising!
The 'Baking Around the World Program' was the pilot community baking class for Karratha residents of all ages to learn baking knowledge and skills. The program started from May 2022 to October 2022. The participants learned about eight desserts of various nationalities, and the chef had a bit of background introduction to each dessert.
Participants learned about the desserts' origin and experience the baking process in person!learned
