Introduction
The 2016 Australian Census shows that about 40% of the WA population was born overseas, with a similar number speaking a language other than English at home.
Cultural Competence Training gives you the essential skills and knowledge to work with people from different cultures. It is practical and logical and creates genuine staff engagement through interactive activities.
The training gives practical strategies for reducing misunderstandings caused by culture or language, both with clients and your coworkers. This training focuses on skills and knowledge that value diversity, understand and respond to cultural differences, and increase awareness of the cultural norms within a workplace.
