The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) provides interpreting services to people who do not speak English and to agencies and businesses that need to communicate with their non-English speaking clients. These services enable non-English speakers to independently access services and information in Australia. 

The Australian Human Rights Commission is an independent statutory organisation, established by an act of the Federal Parliament. AHRC protects and promotes human rights in Australia and internationally.

 The Department is responsible for immigration and customs border policy, as well as:  

• National security and law enforcement policy
• Emergency management, including crisis management  and disaster recovery
• Cyber security policy and coordination
• Countering foreign interference
• Multicultural affairs
• Immigration and Citizenship

 The Fair Work Ombudsman, the inspectors and staff constitute a statutory office established by the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (FW Act).
